In Greater Yellowstone there are numerous migration related projects carried out by government agencies, non-government organizations, academic institutions, and individuals. In order to achieve the most effective management, the regional community of people interested in big game must develop a thorough understanding of who is doing what, where, and how. This site will build a list of ongoing migration related projects to facilitate communication, build community, and coordinate organizations and individuals.

Current identified migration projects include:
Absaroka Conservation Initiative - WYRMEF
GYE Big Game Migration Project - NRCC
Restoring Wild Patterns
- WOC
WCS Migration Corridor Project - WCS
West Inc. Big Game Research - West Inc.
Elk Migration Study - TSS

As this site is developed we will identify and list current projects on big game migrations.

If you are involved in a project addressing big game migrations that we have not identified, please contact us here.
