The Greater Yellowstone Big Game Migration Project was launched in June of 2005. The project is designed to meet the growing need for reliable knowledge on the movements of big game species. Information will be continually updated to this site as it is identified. This project is would not be possible without the generous financial support of the Tides Foundation.

Founded in 1987 in Jackson, Wyoming, the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative (NRCC) strives to conserve species & ecosystems by providing reliable scientific & policy information, bringing people together to formulate & implement sound, effective conservation policies, & building support from an informed public through education and engagement. NRCC is associated with and hosts a variety of projects including Sustaining Jackson Hole, the Forest Legacy Center, and the Mountain Livestock Cooperative.

Participation at any level provides support for the improved managment of big game migrations in Greater Yellowstone. If interested in donating please contact us by email or by phone.

If you have migration related information that we have not identified, and would be of use for this site, please contact us here.

Thank you for your support!
